Bootcamp: Seo Ranking, Are We There Yet?

It's the final week in bootcamp 7.0 with @sidehustleNg a journey of a thousand-mile started in a day and it has finally come to an end with deep and heartfelt gratitude from all digital marketing and content creation team 13 we say a big thank you @sidehustleinternship @sidehustlebootcampportfolio for your great impact and influence on us 4 weeks on internship and 4 weeks in boot camp is not an easy thing I must say and knowledge passed onto us is invaluable, priceless and treasured.

Our journey in bootcamp started and our first week's task was to create a marketing plan for a fintech industry with a content calendar to match including blog post and newsletter thrice and twice respectfully.

Week 2 task was to create content to be posted on a blog for a brand of our choice (existing or non-existing)with a minimum of 5 articles, should consist of 700 words and should attract atlleast a 100 readers. It was indeed a hard task that seems impossible, but we also scale through it and gave sidehustle bootcamp extra in a nutshell no task is impossible it might look hard from the start but the moment you swing into action it will become achievable, doable, and easy at the end.

The third week came with another difficult task and in our mind sidehustle wasn't nice at all. We asked ourselves where are all these tasks coming from? and how are we going to achieve this? Honestly, it was another easy task thrown at us. we are to create a design for our blog content of week 2, create a content calendar for it and drive traffic to the website like getting a lot of engagement on the blog. SEO marketing is not a joke, luckily for team 13, we worked on the food industry which makes a easy thing for us to work on the design though we had our hiccups achieving the task and it was done eventually one great thing about the team is find our ways and alternatives around any things giving us issue which always end well for us.

Luckily it's the final week for the team in bootcamp, the journey has been rough, tough, and fun because a lot was discovered in the process of doing the weekly task for every one of us as we were able to tap knowledge from doing one thing or the other while doing our task because we make use of the word "division of labor" everyone had one thing or the other doing and report back to the group and make use of everything we had without leaving anything untouched kudos to sidehustle for also giving us sleepless night plus heavy eye bags to carry our load the following day. Week four task was to improve on SEO ranking of our blog post with a score of 90 and A- toughest of it all. Everyone swing into action to audit the blog address on SEOptimer and our ranking was low with a poor recommendation.

Nevertheless, there's a solution and we need to do was to check out the pinpoint from the audit and work on it, frankly speaking, it was hard from some coding we couldn't translate, crawlers, indexing, html tags, meta tags, linking and many more all these shouldn't be new to us but it looks harder than we imagine it was like a simple explanation done in class and been given a harder assignment to do sidehustle you did this one a thumb up for you. we were able to do our mojo with the help of videos from youtube and the rank increase to B still counting though, and we all believe there will be improvement before submission. A big shout out to our mentor and coach peculiar Richard and Damilare Oyetade@drey we sight you, bro, and can't wait to show the world what we got.

Once again we thank sidehustle so for exposing us to what real-life job experiences look like so far as we have been able to build our portfolio and confidence as digital marketers going forward into the future.#SidehustleNG #bootcamp #teamwork
